Founded in 2024, Tala is a contemporary art space and gallery that acts as discursive platform for curatorial practice and gathering, located in West Town, Chicago IL. To commemorate Tala’s first anniversary, we are thrilled to debut our inaugural wine fundraiser.

10 artists, 8 unique labels, and 1 ceramic wine topper. In partnership with middle brow and Sister Apothecary, this limited collection of natural wines & brewed botanicals will center Chicago’s close-knit community and deliberate pace as the seeds of its cultural landscape. Returning to the wine bottle as a symbol of slowing down, paying attention, and caring for one another. Inspired by the resilience of grapes cultivated in the Midwest’s austere terrain, this gathering is a continued inquiry into how we gather, sustain, and fortify during uncertain and shifting times.

Funds will support Tala’s next year of programming - centering the experimental practices of the city’s independent curators, writers, publishers, researchers, and artists.
